Did you know? Prohibition began 106 years ago, on January 17, 1920. On Saturday, January 17, 2026, we’re turning back the clock to that unforgettable era for the Wilmington Symphony Orchestra’s annual Gala—Symphony Speakeasy at UNCW’s Burney Center!

Behind the celebration lies a meaningful cause: proceeds support the WSO’s artistic and educational programs, reaching more than 2,500 young people each year through performances, youth orchestras, and community outreach.
