Many times, those new to classical music are nervous about attending concerts because they don’t know what to expect in terms of concert etiquette, and they may have heard that it is kind of “stuffy” with lots of rules. Relax! Classical music isn’t as intimidating as you might think. Directions to Wilson Center

From I-40:
Follow I-40E into Wilmington and turn right onto US-74 W/Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, heading towards Downtown Wilmington. Continue for 4.7 miles, until MLK Parkway becomes 3rd Street. Turn right turn onto Brunswick St. (please note that 3rd street is closed beyond Brunswick Street), then left on 2nd Street. This will take you directly to the North entrance of the parking deck. The Center is across Hanover Street from the parking deck. |
From Brunswick County:
Take US 74E/76N over the Isabel Holmes Bridge. In .7 miles, merge onto 3rd Street and take first right onto N. Front Street. In .2 miles, turn left onto Hanover Street. The parking deck for visitors to the Center will be located one block ahead, on your right. The Center is directly across Hanover Street from the parking deck. |
From Jacksonville:
From US-17S, continue onto I 40 W/US-17 S (follow signs for Interstate 40/Shallotte/ Myrtle Beach). Continue for 7.4 miles then take exit 14 to merge onto US-17 S/US-421 S . In 3 miles, turn left onto the Isabel Holmes Bridge. Merge onto 3rd Street and take the first right turn onto N. Front Street. In .2 miles, turn left onto Hanover Street. The parking deck for visitors of the Center will be located one block ahead, on your right. The center is across Hanover Street from the parking deck. |
