It is the mission of the Wilmington Symphony Orchestra (WSO) to inspire, educate, entertain and involve the children, youth, and adults of our community in the enjoyment of great music. For fifty years, WSO events have touched the lives of thousands of people in the Cape Fear region. But even with a long record of sold-out houses, ticket revenues only cover 35% of the annual operating budget: individual contributions are vital to sustain the mission.
